After installing a new printer, it's essential to print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly. In most cases, issues with printing can be attributed to problems with the print head itself, rather than any other factor. If you've tried cleaning your print head multiple times without success, you may need to invest in a Print Head Cleaning Kit that uses strong solvents to dissolve dry ink and unclog blocked print heads.

To unblock a clogged print head, navigate to your printer's menu and locate the 'Nozzle Cleaning' utility. This feature can be used to clean individual colors or the entire print head at once. In some cases, printing errors may occur when ink dries on the surface of the print head due to prolonged periods of inactivity or the use of low-quality ink that tends to dry easily and block small holes on the print head's surface.

If you're experiencing issues with specific colors not printing correctly, it's likely a sign of a clogged print head. Check that the breather tape on top of your ink cartridge has been fully removed, as this can sometimes cause problems with color printing.

Once you've printed the test page, you'll be able to easily identify which color is not printing correctly. To print the test page, simply click on the link provided below, hover your cursor over the image, right-click on it and select 'Print Image'.
